The Himalayan Flameback (Dinopium shorii), also known as the Himalayan Goldenback, is a species of bird in the Picidae family.
It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, and Nepal. A disjunct population occurs in the southern Eastern Ghats.[1] Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
